Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Veehax platform operated by Veehax (Pvt) Ltd ("Veehax," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Veehax governing your access to and use of our platform, products, APIs, and services available at veehax.com and associated applications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

Overview

Veehax is an AI-powered education and productivity platform headquartered at World Trade Center, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Our mission is to democratise access to world-class, personalised learning through intelligent technology. These Terms apply to all users individual learners, enterprise clients, developers using our APIs, and visitors to our website.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and process your personal data, and any additional policies, product-specific terms, or enterprise agreements that may apply to your use of specific Veehax services.

Plain Language CommitmentWe have written these Terms to be as clear and direct as possible. Where we use legal language, we aim to accompany it with plain-language explanation. Questions? Write to us at hello@veehax.com.

Eligibility

To use Veehax services, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age. Users between 16 and 18 require parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
  • Not be prohibited from receiving or using our services under the laws of Sri Lanka or any applicable jurisdiction.
  • Represent and warrant that all registration information you submit is accurate, current, and complete.

Institutional or enterprise users agree to these Terms on behalf of their organisation and warrant that they have authority to bind their organisation to these Terms. Users under 16 must use Veehax exclusively under an institutional agreement that includes appropriate safeguards.

User Accounts

Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password, or authenticate via a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub).
  • Each account is for a single individual. You may not share, transfer, or sell your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your credentials.

Account Security

  • Notify us immediately at hello@veehax.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), available in your account security settings.
  • Veehax will never ask for your password via email, chat, or support tickets.

Account Suspension & Deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Refer to our Privacy Policy for data deletion timelines.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

Description of Services

Veehax provides a suite of AI-powered learning and productivity tools, which may include but are not limited to:

  • AI Learning Platform: Personalised learning paths, adaptive content delivery, and skill assessment powered by proprietary AI models.
  • AI Assistant: An intelligent assistant that answers questions, generates explanations, and supports learning tasks across domains.
  • Content Library: Curated educational content, courses, and resources accessible to subscribed users.
  • Analytics Dashboard: Progress tracking, performance analytics, and learning insights for individual users and institutional administrators.
  • Developer API: Programmatic access to Veehax AI capabilities for integration into third-party applications, subject to separate API terms.

We continuously evolve our platform. Features may be added, modified, or discontinued. We will provide reasonable notice of significant service changes that materially affect paid subscribers.

Service AvailabilityVeehax targets 99.5% uptime for production services. We conduct planned maintenance during low-traffic windows and provide advance notice for downtime exceeding 30 minutes. Service level agreements for enterprise clients are defined in their respective contracts.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Veehax services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

Prohibited Activities

  • Using the platform to generate, distribute, or promote content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful to minors.
  • Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features, access controls, or usage limits of the platform.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code of any Veehax software or AI model weights.
  • Scraping, crawling, or mass-extracting platform data using automated means without prior written authorisation.
  • Using the platform to train, fine-tune, or develop competing AI systems or models without explicit written consent from Veehax.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation with Veehax.
  • Uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage, disrupt, or compromise systems.
  • Using the platform for spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited commercial communications.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts, internal systems, or third-party services connected to Veehax.

Zero Tolerance PolicyAny activity that causes harm to Veehax, our users, or third parties will result in immediate account termination and may be referred to relevant legal authorities. We actively monitor platform activity for policy violations.

AI-Generated Content

Veehax utilises artificial intelligence to generate content, recommendations, and responses. You acknowledge and agree to the following regarding AI-generated output:

  • No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or factually incorrect. Always verify critical information from authoritative sources before relying on it for important decisions.
  • Not professional advice: Nothing generated by Veehax AI constitutes legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.
  • Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. Veehax is not liable for decisions or actions you take based on AI output.
  • Content ownership: Output generated by the Veehax AI in response to your inputs is provided to you for your use, subject to these Terms. Veehax retains the right to use anonymised interaction data to improve our systems.
  • Prohibited AI use: You may not use Veehax AI to generate content designed to deceive, manipulate, or cause harm including disinformation, academic fraud, or malicious code.

Intellectual Property

Veehax Property

The Veehax platform including its software, AI models, algorithms, brand assets, design systems, documentation, and proprietary content is owned by or licensed to Veehax (Pvt) Ltd. All rights reserved. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Veehax IP to you.

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create and upload to the platform ("User Content").
  • By uploading User Content, you grant Veehax a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. Do not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Licence to Use

Veehax grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. This licence does not permit you to sublicense, resell, or commercially exploit the platform or its content.

Feedback

If you provide suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback about Veehax, you agree that we may use this feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

Payment & Billing

Subscriptions

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout.
  • Prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date via account settings.

Refunds

  • Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of initial purchase, provided no significant usage has occurred.
  • Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced.
  • Refunds due to verified platform outages or billing errors will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Failed Payments & Suspension

  • If payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to process payment again. After two failed attempts, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.
  • Access to paid features will be restored promptly upon successful payment.

Enterprise PricingEnterprise contracts, volume licensing, and custom pricing arrangements are governed by a separate Master Service Agreement negotiated with Veehax's commercial team. Contact enterprise@veehax.com.

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Veehax platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Veehax's aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by you to Veehax in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) LKR 10,000.

  • Veehax is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Veehax is not responsible for third-party services, integrations, or content accessible through the platform.
  • Veehax is not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated content. You retain responsibility for evaluating and acting on any AI output.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veehax, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your use of Veehax at any time by deleting your account through account settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 08.

Termination by Veehax

  • We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, for material violations of these Terms including but not limited to illegal activity, security breaches, or abuse of the platform.
  • For less severe violations, we may issue a warning and allow a reasonable period to remedy the breach before suspension.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue any service or the entire platform with reasonable notice to users.

Effect of Termination

  • Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so including intellectual property, liability, and governing law clauses.
  • Data deletion follows the timelines outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  • Dispute resolution: In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days from written notice of the dispute.
  • Jurisdiction: Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
  • Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with Veehax individually and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
  • Governing language: These Terms are written in English. In the event of any translation, the English version shall prevail.

Veehax reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
